The APR 40/60 has good capabilities with a working width of 60 cm. It is often the vibratory plate of choice for contractors working with pavement blocks with thicknesses up to 10 cm. An optional available, toolless mountable rubber mat helps prevent damage during the compaction process. When working on other surfaces and in other applications. the APR 40/60 showcases operator friendly features and performance characteristics of all Ammann Vibratory Plate Compactors.
Biofuel Use
Ammann diesel-burning machines are able to utilise hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a biofuel made from waste that reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90%.

The hydrostatic forward and reverse steering of APR plates enables quick directional changes and the ability to compact in tight and hard-to-reach spaces. |
Industry-leading low HAV levels

An innovative handle concept lowers the hand-arm vibration (HAV) values on Ammann APR plates to a level of less than 2.5 m/sec², making work more comfortable and safer. The vibration levels are so low that safety codes do not require documentation of operator hours.
