Ammann’s innovative plants, machines and services will be on display at bauma China, to be held 22-25 Nov. in Shanghai.

Ammann will present a deep and wide range of products, including light compaction equipment, heavy rollers, pavers, and asphalt and concrete plants.

After-sales support efforts that will be on display including training opportunities and Amdurit^®, Ammann’s proprietary wear-protection system.

The booth also will feature the “brains” of plants, the industry-leading as1 Control System.

Ammann’s light compaction equipment will be on display. The machines offer a multitude of features, such as intuitive operation and vibration-limiting handles that make the compactors productive, safe and comfortable.

A variety of wheel and track pavers that showcase Ammann’s commitment to productivity, ease of use and service to unique markets will be on display. The pavers’ capabilities range from narrow paths to large road construction projects.

Heavy compaction equipment – including single-drum, tandem and pneumatic rollers – also will be present. These machines are known for intuitive control, visibility, operator comfort and high compaction output. A roller that utilises oscillation was recently released as well.

The Ammann ABP 320 HRT Asphalt-Mixing Plant, an ideal fit for asphalt manufacturers who need to incorporate large proportions of recycled asphalt (RAP) without sacrificing production capacity and quality. Ammann continues to display its industry leadership in RAP utilisation with the “2-in-1” HRT (High Recycling Technology) plant, featuring both a warm and cold recycling system that can be used simultaneously.

The mixer of the Ammann SCC 400 ColdMix Plant, which provides peak fuel efficiency, creating cost savings and ultimately boosting profitability for asphalt manufacturers. Cold mix asphalt and related mixes require less heat to manufacture and therefore consume less fuel and emit fewer emissions, too.

Amdurit, Ammann’s proprietary wear-protection system that provides 3 times the service life of wear-resistant steel and protects valuable parts and components. The components last longer, which translates to fewer replacements and reduced labor and therefore lower costs. Overall plant uptime is improved as well.

The Ammann as1 Control System, which supports asphalt and concrete producers who want to improve quality while reducing material waste and energy consumption. The proprietary system is available with new plants or as a retrofit on existing plants – regardless of the manufacturer brand. The system can monitor energy consumption, material usage, material flow and other factors that significantly impact productivity and profitability.

Training, which is offered at locations around the world, including the Shanghai facility near bauma China. The course offerings are: basic, for newcomers; follow-up, the intermediate class; and advanced, for those who want to be experts.
