A fast worker and an excellent climber
The light weight and narrow width of the APR 22/40 make this reversible plate compactor a great fit especially on small or confined worksites. With a working width of 40 cm and a weight of about 100 kg (121 kg with diesel engine), this vibratory plate squeezes into tight locations.
The ability to overcome steep grades and move quickly on even and uneven surfaces allow a wide range of applications that the APR 22/40 can be used for.
Biofuel Use
Ammann diesel-burning machines are able to utilise hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO), a biofuel made from waste that reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90%.

Hydrostatic steering

The hydrostatic forward and reverse steering of APR plates enables quick directional changes and the ability to compact in tight and hard-to-reach spaces. |
Industry-leading low HAV levels

An innovative handle concept lowers the hand-arm vibration (HAV) values on Ammann APR plates to a level of less than 2.5 m/sec², making work more comfortable and safer. The vibration levels are so low that safety codes do not require documentation of operator hours.

The hydrostatic setting enables “on-the-spot” vibration in particularly challenging areas. The machine essentially hovers – no forward or reverse movement is required – while providing maximum compaction output that enables quick results. |
